The BS Information Management (BSIM) program, also known as BS Information Systems, combines information technology (IT) with business processes. Knowledge and skills in information and communications technology (ICT) are used in working with different sectors in industry like business and government. To be successful in this course, students should be technological savvies with good technical, mathematical, communication, and logical and analytical skills.
Fresh graduates of the BSIM program can work in a variety of job positions like computer programmer, web designer, IT sales professional, and information systems professional in a BPO company. Those who already have job experiences and training can be employed in mid-level positions such as systems administrator, systems analyst, business process analyst, and computer teacher/professor. More experienced professionals can be employed in advanced positions such as project manager, IT consultant, geographical information systems (GIS) officer, and business analyst.
