Isabela State University - San Mateo (ISU - San Mateo) is a public educational institution in
San Mateo, Isabela, and is one of the campuses under the
Isabela State University (ISU) system. Its humble beginnings began in the barangay hall of the municipality of San Mateo before it was successfully transferred in an agricultural land area after 20 years.
Presently, the campus offers undergraduate programs in
Teacher Education and Information Technology. And like its fellow ISU campuses, the San Mateo Campus is also recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
