Jose Maria College (JMC) is a private, non-sectarian school in
Sasa, Davao Davao City. It was founded as
Jose Maria Academy (JMA) in 2000 by
Apollo Quiboloy. During its first few years, the academy offered programs from the preschool level to the second-grade level. In 2003, the school was renamed into a college, and the following year, it started to offer collegiate programs. That same year, JMC provided complete elementary and high school programs.
The school has an
Integrated Basic Education (IBEd) program recognized by DepEd. The Senior High School department provides the
Academic and the
Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) tracks. At the college level, the undergraduate courses offered are under seven departments:
Arts and Sciences, Teacher Education, Business, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, Engineering, and Law. Aside from the Bachelor of Laws, the College of Law also offers a
Master of Laws program. JMC also has
TESDA courses available for students who are interested in earning their
National Certificate (NC).
