La Carlota City College (LCCC) is a higher education institution in Negros Occidental. It started in 1966 and was the first city college outside Metro Manila. LCCC has been providing residents of the city access to higher education even before the RA 7160, which was implemented in 1991 to establish colleges in cities and municipalities. The city college currently has two campuses—the Main Campus along Gurrea Street and the Cubay Campus in Barangay Cubay.
LCCC provides programs in the undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate level. College students can choose their degree courses under five academic units: Business, Teacher Education, Criminal Justice Education, Liberal Arts, and Agriculture. For graduates who want to pursue further studies, the city college has a Graduate School department offering Masters and Doctorate degrees in the fields of Teacher Education, Business Administration, and Public Administration.
