La Finns Scholastica Colleges (formerly
La Union Colleges of Nursing Arts and Sciences) is a private school established in 2003. La Finns started as
La Union College of Nursing by Mr. and Dr. Zenaida C. Finn, who wanted to form competent medical aids ready to be sent abroad. In 2008, an additional department in the Arts and Sciences was added, which consequently changed the name of the school to
La Union College of Nursing, Arts and Sciences. By 2012, as the program offerings became diverse, the school was renamed to La Finn's Scholastica, eventually being La Finns Scholastica Colleges.
At present, LFSC has the
K-12 program aside from its usual college courses. The college department offers four-year courses in
Health, Management, and
Technical Education. The Senior High School department has available programs in
STEM,
ABM, HUMSS, GAS, and
HE. Additionally, the college offers training in Cookery, Bread & Pastry, Caregiving, and Hilot Wellness Massage. LFSC is also an accredited assessment center for several
TESDA programs.
