Leyte Colleges is a private higher educational institute in Tacloban City. It was founded by Don Francisco Abejar Astilla in 1945, and it was the second tertiary school in the city. At present, the school provides programs for Junior High School, Senior High School, and College students. Its SHS department offers the ABM, GAS, HUMSS, and TVL strands. The college department, on the other hand, offers degree courses in Teacher Education, Business Administration, Office Administration, Criminology, and Political Science. Additionally, a Bachelor of Laws is made available for interested law students.

Leyte Colleges is duly recognized by the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). Through its programs and by providing adequate facilities, the college is committed to producing students who will contribute to the progress of Eastern Visayas.
