The Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science consists of general and professional courses where the fourth level requires a one-year internship in a CHED-accredited training laboratory. Interns are exposed to rotational duties in different areas to include Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunohematology (Blood Banking), Immunology and Serology, Urinalysis and Body Fluids (Clinical Microscopy), and Parasitology. The program also exposes students to the use of histopathologic/cytologic techniques and emergent technologies.
