The focus of this international Master’s programme is to offer a critical approach to contemporary social and cultural issues in media and communications. Our aim is to broaden understanding of global media structures and processes in modern life. We provide up to date engagement with key issues, theories and problems in media, democracy and cultural citizenship, media power, media industries and production, gender, health and society, representation and popular culture, media audiences, cultural diversity and critical animal studies.
