The graduate of this program aims to achieve the following outcomes:

1. To ensure the continuous development of laboratory professionals with enhanced competencies in the performance of their professional duties and responsibilities.
2. To enhance the high professional, technical, and ethical standards and quality of practice in the field of laboratory medicine.
3. To be well-equipped in assuming leadership and supervisory roles in clinical laboratories and related fields.
4. To keep pace with the latest trends in the profession brought about by modernization and technological advancement particularly in the following fields of specialization: clinical laboratory diagnostics, clinical laboratory management, and clinical education.

Applicants must have:

1. a degree in BS Medical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology
2. good academic standing
3. passed the Licensure Examination for Medical Technologists and legally allowed to practice Medical Technology in the Philippines (if a local student)
4. satisfactory performance in the admission test
5. satisfactorily passed the interview conducted by the Program Chair or Dean of the Graduate School
