Mandaue City College (MCC) is a public, higher educational institution in
Cebu. It was established in 2005 and has the mission to provide residents of the city, especially the underprivileged, access to a college education. The school commits itself to train students and to equip them with the necessary skills and attitudes to become service-oriented professionals. Starting in 2019, new, continuing, and returning college students are eligible for the
Free Higher Education Program that allows them to take classes without having to pay any tuition fee.
MCC is
the only CHED-accredited public tertiary institution in the city. It offers undergraduate courses in
Teacher Education, Business Administration, and
Information Technology. The city college also has a Senior High School (SHS) department with the
Academic Track available, particularly the
ABM, GAS, and
HUMSS strands.
