Manresa School is a private, Roman Catholic school at Paranaque City, Manila. It was founded by St. Candida Maria De Jesus in 1971 and has sister institutions, all run by Hijas de Jesus Congregation. These include Sacred Heart School-Hijas de Jesus in Cebu (formerly Sacred Heart School for Girls); St. Joseph School in Jordan, Guimaras; St. James Catholic High School in Maasin, Iloilo; Stella Maris Academy of Davao in Davao; Hijas de Jesus School in Estancia, Iloilo; and Colegio de las Hijas de Jesus in Ledesma St., Iloilo.

Back in 1961, the Hijas de Jesus started negotiations for a school site at BF Homes, Paranaque. This was in response to the call of the church to open centers of Catholic education outside Manila. The name “Manresa” was chosen because of the significance of the place to the Hijas de Jesus sisters. Their Foundress, Blessed Candida Maria de Jesus left them a legacy and heritage–the Ignatian spirituality.
