Mary Our Help Technical Institute for Women (MOH-TIW) is a private educational institution in
Minglanilla, Cebu. Its history can be traced when the
Mary Help of Christians School was founded in 1985 through the
Salesian Sisters of St. John Bosco. The school initially offered a basic education program (including a night high school) and short-term vocational courses, all of which are exclusive for female students. The following year, a
Women Development and Technology Center was set up to cater students in technical skills education. In 2005, this said department on tech-voc courses became an
independent institution—the Mary Our Help Technical Institute for Women (Cebu), Inc.
The institution currently offers
CHED-recognized undergraduate programs in
Entrepreneurship, Office Administration, Travel Management, and Electronics and Communications Engineering. Its Senior High School (SHS) department has the
ABM, STEM, HE, and
IA strands available. For those who are interested in learning specific sets of skills, there are various
tech-voc courses provided by the school as authorized by
TESDA.
