Story, story, story! The Film program at MINT College trains students to focus on the most important aspect of the filmmaking-the story. Film students develop their storytelling abilities and apply it towards the multitude of traditional and emerging platforms available; from the content viewed on mobile devices to feature length films on the big screen and everything in between.
Film students get hands-on experience with the latest tools, from cameras, audio, lights, and editing software. They are also able to work with professionals in the web, TV, and film industry who emphasize process and best practices. The production of content is made through collaborations with students in Multimedia Arts, Music, Theater, IT and Business, leveraging the diversity of talent, skill sets, and disciplines available at MINT College.
The opportunities available to film students are in directing, scriptwriting, editing, cinematography, producing, set and production design, costume design, prop making, makeup and styling, music composition and lighting design.
