Midway Maritime Foundation, Inc. (MMFI), formerly known as the Midway Technical School, is a non-profit maritime school established in 1988. Tomas Cloma, considered as the father of maritime education in the Philippines, provided assistance in its development.
MMFI mainly offers undergraduate programs in marine transportation, which tackles ship navigation and operations and marine engineering that deals with ship maintenance and usage. Another offering is a four-year course on customs administration, ideal for someone who aspires to be a professional customs broker someday. The school also has a two-year program on cruise ship, hotel and restaurant services that teach students about hospitality management (CSHRS) and a Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) course on shielded metal arc welding (SMAW).
