If you have a passion for caring for people, this course will let you experience world-class learning in a supportive environment to help you become a Registered Nurse. You’ll learn about the professional aspects of nursing and also study the psychosocial and biological sciences.

You’ll also be equipped with lifetime access to a web-based ePortfolio, to showcase your knowledge and experience to prospective employees when you graduate. You’ll gain valuable experience in state-of-the-art learning facilities that include clinical teaching wards and modern simulation suites.

As part of the course, you’ll complete 18 weeks of work experience in hospitals, aged care and community settings throughout WA. You could even have the opportunity to travel overseas for clinical placements in Africa, Asia and the United Kingdom.

You can complete your Nursing degree in three years of full-time study or within six years of part-time study.

When you graduate, you’ll be eligible for registration in the Registered Nurse Category of the Register at the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and the Nurses and Midwives Board of Australia.

Once you have successfully completed the degree and are eligible for registration as a nurse in Australia, you're accredited to work nationally. There are no limitations – it's a blanket accreditation.

This course is accredited by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC)

If you’re already qualified as a registered nurse in your home country, or are living overseas and already have nursing qualifications, we offer alternative pathways to become a Registered Nurse in Australia.
