New Era University (NEU) is a private university run by the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC). The school was established in 1975 as the New Era Educational Institute, with initial program offering in secondary education. At present, NEU has five campuses in the country: NEU Quezon City (Main), NEU Batangas, NEU Pampanga, NEU General Santos City, and NEU Rizal.

New Era University – General Santos City Branch (NEU GSC) opened in 1994 with a Preschool program. It eventually offered programs for Elementary, High School, and College students. Currently, NEU GSC implements the K-12 basic education program, with the Academic track available for Senior High School students. Its college department has undergraduate programs in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Real Estate Management, and Entrepreneurship.
