New Society National High School (NSNHS) is a public secondary school located in
General Santos, South Cotabato. The school started as an annex of General Santos City High School on
June 10, 1991, to cater to the increasing enrollment of the school. It became an independent school on
August 12, 2003, and envisions to produce quality graduates by providing competent teachers with a supportive community in a productive learning environment.
Presently, the school is a
K to 12-ready and provides education to students from Grades 7-12 in accordance with the new basic education program that was ordered by the Department of Education (
DepEd). It offers
Academic Track such as Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (
STEM) strand, Accountancy, Business, and Management (
ABM) strand and Humanities and Social Science (
HumSS) strand as well as the
Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) track and
Art and Design track to individuals who want to complete their senior high school education in the institution.
