Northwest Samar State University (NwSSU), formerly known as Tiburcio Tancinco Memorial Institute of Science and Technology (TTMIST), is a public educational institution based in Calbayog City, Samar. Established in the early 1960s as the Tiburcio Tancinco Memorial Vocational School, the school integrated with the Samar State College of Agriculture and Forestry (SSCAF) and achieved university status in 2009.
