Notre Dame of Kidapawan College (NDKC) is a Catholic institution in the province of
Cotabato. It was established as a high school in 1948 by
Oblate priests in Kidapawan; but, the school was eventually turned over the
Marist Brothers of the Schools (FMS) in 1954. The Marist Brothers have been managing the school since then. In 1958, the boys' and girls' departments were run separately by the
Marist Brothers and the
RVM sisters, but the school became co-educational in 1960 when undergraduate courses became available.
At present, NDKC offers elementary, junior high school, senior high school, undergraduate, and postgraduate programs. The school's Senior High School department offers the
Academic and the
Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) tracks. For college students, the programs available are i
n Teacher Education, Nursing, Engineering, Information Technology, Business and Accountancy, and
Liberal Arts. NDKC also has a Graduate School department offering
English and
Mathematics.
