    Yes. But these two additional years will equip you with skills that will better prepare you for the future, whether it be; Kolehiyo, Trabaho or Negosyo!

  • Admission Policies and Requirements - Undergraduate

    PLM receives thousands of applications from all over the Philippines every year. Qualified residents of Manila, who are graduates or senior students of any DepEd-recognized public and private high school in the Philippines, may be admitted as freshmen based on the ff.:

          • General Weighted Average (GWA) of 85%, at the minimum, obtained in the Third Year level in high school
           Performance in the PLM Admission Test (PLMAT)

    Who are qualified to apply for the PLM Admission Test?

    MANILA RESIDENTS from public and private high schools all over the Philippines with a GWA of at least 85% are qualified. More specifically, MANILA RESIDENTS who are graduates* or senior students of:

    1. Public high schools under the Division of City Schools-Manila (DCS-Manila)
    2. Private high schools in Manila
    3. Public and private high schools outside of Manila

    Non-Manila valedictorians and salutatorians are privileged to apply for PLMAT starting March, after the determination of the honors to be conferred, upon presentation of verifiable credentials, including a certification on the honors received executed by the duly constituted school authority. The PLMAT exclusive for said honorees is usually scheduled in early April.

    *Applicants who have already graduated must not have taken the PLMAT previously.

    Qualifying Requirements

    Bring the original copy and photocopy of the following:

          • Identification: High school ID card

          • Grade requirement: 3rd year high school report card (F-138) &/or F-137 with a general weighted average (GWA) of 85% or better

          • Primary proof of Manila residency (any one):

                - Parent's latest Voter's Registration with voting record (with thumbmark), and/or SK Voter's ID of the applicant
                - Parent's Income Tax Return/Real Property Tax receipt (2013) plus company ID
    Secondary proof (in support, but not in lieu, of any of primary proofs above): Barangay certification of residency (if available)

          • Proof of the relation to the Parents: NSO-certified birth certificate

    Only when the appropriate documents are complied with can the PLMAT Application Form (PLMAT Form No. 1) be issued to the applicant.

    Note: For your convenience, it is best to bring all kinds of available documents for evaluation.
