Considered as the pioneer of the university's College of Education, the
Pangasinan State University - Bayambang (PSU - Bayambang) is a public educational institution part of the province-wide university system of
Pangasinan State University. The campus was formerly known as the Bayambang Normal School in 1922, which then later became as the
Central Luzon Teachers College.
The Bayambang campus still provides
Teacher Education programs with various majors that students can specialize on. The campus'
Secondary Education program is composed of
twelve (12) majors while its
Elementary Education accommodates
two (2). Along with these programs are courses in
Public Administration, Information Technology, and
Nursing among others. The Bayambang campus also has a graduate school with graduate degree programs in
Education and
Nursing, the only campus that provides such in the university system.
