I thank PCT for molding me to a kind of teacher I am today and to what will I become in the Future. My training during my College education helped me enhance my skills. Given the privilege to work here is more challenging yet I am confident that I can do great things beyond anyone's expectations.

What does Philippine College of Technology stand for?

The Philippine College of Technology (formerly Philippine School of Technology) is a NEW GENERATION EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION located at the Heart of Davao City. It began in 1993 as a technical school providing short-term courses, mostly in the area of industrial arts. Eventually, it offered technical programs in the paramedical field (One of the pioneers in Davao to offer Practical Nursing), in information technology, and in home economics. In 2000, PCT started to have a degree program in Hotel & Restaurant Management; and, the school has been growing in students and in program offerings since then. Aside from Bajada, the college also has a campus in Calinan, Davao City.

At present, the school has available programs for Senior High School students and for College students. The SHS department has selected strands from the Academic and the Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) tracks. College students can avail of undergraduate programs from seven departments, namely: Education; Business Education and Governance; Accounting; Information & Communication Technology; Hospitality; Trade and Industry; and, Health Services. Included in these courses are one- to two-year associate or ladderized programs. Furthermore, PCT is a TESDA Accredited Assessment and Training Center; and, it provides a variety of TVET courses for those who are interested in getting their National Certificate (NC).

PCT houses 12 TESDA-Accredited Assessment Centers and is an affiliate of Public Employment Service Office (PESO) than links its graduates to job opportunities here and abroad.

With its strengthened partnership with LGUs and Local & International Industry Partners, PCT
continues to provide quality manpower and industry leaders that are globally competitive.
