Philippine Normal University (PNU) is a public university in the country dedicated for individuals who want to take their path in the field of Education. Founded in 1901 as the Philippine Normal School (PNS), it offered two-year courses in secondary education. In 1949, PNS was converted into Philippine Normal College, adding 4-year degree programs in Elementary Education, Science, and Home Economics in its curriculum.
