The Philippine State College of Aeronautics Mactan Benito Ebuen Air Base (PhilSCA MBEAB) is a branch of the said state college in Lapu-Lapu, Cebu. The Mactan Campus was established in 1979, two years after the Main Campus in Villamor Air Base was founded. This aeronautical engineering school was started to train members for the Philippine Air Force. Aside from being specialized in aeronautics and aviation, PhilSCA is also known for being the only educational institution in the country to offer graduate and postgraduate programs in aeronautical education and management.
PhilSCA Mactan Air Base currently offers bachelor's degree courses in Aeronautical Engineering, Aircraft Electronics Technology, Aircraft Maintenance Technology, and English. Additionally, the campus offers Associate programs in Aviation Electronics Technology, Aviation Information Technology, and Information Management. These Associate programs are ladderized, and interested students can continue to a bachelor's degree program after earning their associate degree.
