The PWU CDCEC - Calamba is a private academic school part of the PWU's Career Development and Continuing Education program. This program was founded in 1978 as a response to the growing need for skilled professionals who will contribute to the emerging business industries. it is also part of the PWU's vision to reach out to various provinces in the Philippines that are in great need of quality continuing education and training.

The Calamba branch offers seven CHED-recognized undergraduate and diploma programs as well as six Technical-Vocational courses under TESDA. What separates the Calamba center from its sister - campuses is that this is the only school unit that offers undergraduate programs in Elementary and Secondary Education. And aside from that, its Technical-Vocational courses have associate degrees.
