ILOILO City – The PHINMA University of Iloilo (PHINMA UI) inaugurated its OJH Hall and Student Commons on Sept. 28 in celebration of two outstanding people in the PHINMA UI Community – PHINMA Chairman Mr. Oscar J. Hilado and the late Alejandro O. Que.
Gracing the said event were PHINMA executives led by PHINMA President and CEO Ramon R. Del Rosario.
Both embodied PHINMA UI’s thrust of “making lives better”, Hilado and Que served as good examples to the Ilonggos, said PHINMA Education president Chito Salazar.
“They are also good models to our students here because they both came from humble beginnings but through hard work, dedication, excellence and integrity, they were able to develop into very successful men,” he added. Salazar hopes that their students in PHINMA UI will also become successful following the same effort, dedication and commitment that Hilado and Que showed.
On his part, Hilado feels flabbergasted, honored and proud to PHINMA UI for naming after him the newly inaugurated hall.
“This great honor will make our late father even prouder to be a graduate of UI. We look forward to more graduates of UI and wish them more success,” he said.
At present, PHINMA UI continues to improve its facilities as part of its expansion. To note, it is currently developing its Health Sciences Programs in partnership with The Medical City Iloilo (TMCI). Among the programs that they are developing include Pharmacy, Medical Technology and Physical Therapy.
