Physical Therapy is a branch of rehabilitative science that uses specially designed exercises and equipment  to help patients regain or improve their physical abilities.

Physical therapists are trained to move their patients and clients toward achieving the highest functional outcomes. PTs provide services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. They also restore, maintain and promote overall health, wellness and  fitness.

Physical therapists treat patients of all ages, including trauma victims and individuals with disabling conditions such as burns, amputations, stroke, vertigo, low back pain, arthritis, heart disease, fractures, head injuries, and cerebral palsy.
