Requirements

Master's Degree
  • Original and Photocopy/CTC of Transcript of Records (from the school last attended)
  • Original and Photocopy of Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) authenticated Birth Certificate
  • Original and Photocopy of PSA authenticated Marriage Certificate (for female married applicant only)
  • Softcopy of recent ID picture, 2"x2" (with complete name and in formal attire w/ white background) - for online application
  • Downloaded and signed GSEE Application Form, attached with 2”x2” ID picture that you uploaded during online application
  • Downloaded payment voucher

    Original copy of the following:
     
  • Certificate of Employment or Service Record (if employed)
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character (from employer) or Brgy. Certificate/Clearance from NBI/Police within the last 6 months
  • Medical Certificate within the last 6 months (“Fit to Study”)

    Additional Requirements for GSEE Passers:
     
  • Updated Curriculum Vitae/Resume (including research works and publications, if any)
  • A two-page, double spaced write up discussing or describing the research area, idea, or interest that the applicant would like to investigate in his/her thesis/dissertation. The write-up should be on short bond paper and encoded using Arial font size 12
  • One long brown envelope

    Admission Prerequisites
     
  • Bachelor's Degree - Appropriate or related to the program; if the bachelor’s degree is in another field, the applicant has to make up for deficiencies by taking 18 units of pre-degree courses prescribed in the relevant program of studies in this University.
  • Grade Requirement - A scholastic rating of at least 2.0, B, 85% or better in the undergraduate courses
  • Qualify in the admission examination
  • Pass the interview by the Program Chair and/or the Dean

Undergraduate

Requirements

Freshmen
  • Qualifications
     
    • Grade 12 students expected to graduate at the end of School Year 2018-2019, and those who graduated from K-12 pilot schools who have not enrolled in any technical / diploma / degree program immediately after graduation with GWA of 82% or higher.
    • A Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) passer, eligible for admission to college with an average rating of 82% or higher in its 5 subject areas: Mathematics, Communication Arts (English), Science, Communication Arts (Filipino) and Araling Panlipunan.
    • An Alternative Learning System Accreditation & Equivalency (ALS) Test for Secondary Level passer, eligible for admission to college: with Percentile Correct (PC) 82% or higher and has 100 or higher Standard Score (SS) with Essay Writing of 82% of higher following DepEd regulations.
    • Graduated in 2016 or earlier years but did not enter college / technical / diploma / degree program in any school.

       
  • Application
     
    • All PUPCET applicants must apply online using PUP iApply (read step-by-step procedure).  An applicant is allowed to apply and take the PUPCET in only one (1) PUP Branch/Campus, and only once this academic year. Multiple application will make the applicant’s PUPCET result null and void. PUPCET application is non-transferrable.
    • Please allow five (5) working days after online application before claiming your ePermit.

       
  • Documentary Requirements
     
    • Original (or certified true copy, if lost) of senior high school card (F138) with school dry seal
    • Notarized certification of non-enrollment for senior high school graduates who have not enrolled in any technical/diploma/degree program immediately after senior high school graduation
    • Certificate of Completion for Senior High School
    • Original PSA Birth Certificate
    • Certification of Good Moral issued by the senior high school principal or guidance counselor with school dry seal
    • Duly authenticated copy of the PEPT/ALS A&E Test Certificate of Rating, certified by the DepEd-NETRC-BALS
    • School ID (for currently enrolled students) or any valid ID with picture (for previous senior high school graduates)

Transferees
 
  • Transferring within the PUP System
     
    • have a recommendation from the Director of the branch where he/she came from;
    • have completed at least two (2) semesters;
    • have no failing grade, dropped and withdrawn mark in any academic subject;
    • have met the college academic course/program requirements; and
    • have submitted the following requirement to the Admission Services:
       
      • Transfer Credential/Honorable Dismissal
      • Certification of Grades/Transcript of Records for evaluation purposes
      • Receipt of Admission Fee payment
      • NSO Copy of Birth Certificate
      • Receipt of Admission fee payment, and
      • Curriculum sheet

         
  • Transferring from another School
     
  • have passed the psychological test;
  • have completed two (2) semesters or one (1) year (equivalent to 36 units only) for the last two (2) years in any four or five year program/degree/course in the school/university where he/she came from;
  • have a weighted average of 2.0 or better with no failed, dropped or withdrawn subjects
  • have met the college academic program/course requirements;
  • have submitted the following requirements:
     
    • Honorable Dismissal/Transfer Credentials
    • Transcript of Records
    • Certification of good moral character with school/university dry seal
    • Course/Subject Description taken from other school/university
    • NSO Copy of Birth Certificate
    • Medical Clearance from the University Clinic
    • two (2) pcs. 2x2 picture with name tag
    • Receipt of Admission fee payment, and
    • Curriculum sheet

Returnee
 
  • Duly accomplished Application Form for Returning Student;
  • Accounts Clearance;
  • Latest Registration Certificate;
  • Medical Clearance from the University Clinic;
  • Academic evaluation based on Transcript of Records or informative copy of grades issued by the Student Records Head of the Office of the University Registrar; and
  • Receipt of payment of Re-admission Fee.

Polytechnic University of the Philippines - Sablayan (PUP - Sablayan) is an institution of higher learning part of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. The Sablayan campus came into being through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed by the municipal government of Sablayan and by PUP in 2010. And it was only in 2018 when the campus became part of the university system by the virtue of RA 11056. With this integration, the Sablayan campus is now considered as the 21st satellite campus of the PUP. 

At present, the Sablayan campus offers various undergraduate and graduate programs. This includes programs in the fields of Education, Administration, and Business. In addition to these programs, an associate degree in Tourism Management is also open for admissions.
