Saint Francis of Assisi College (SFAC) is a private, non-sectarian college system with the main campus in Las Piñas City. It was established in 198 by Dr. Evangeline Orosco and Dr. Arturo Orosco, Sr. Currently, it has nine campuses all over Metro Manila and Southern Luzon.
SFAC in Las Piñas offers complete education from preschool up to tertiary level. The college department has five academic units offering undergraduate programs in Teacher Education, Psychology, Business Administration, Nursing, Engineering, and Computer Science. It also offers graduate programs under the Graduate School of Business and Education. A K-12 accredited institution, the school has ABM, GAS, STEM, HE, and ICT strands available for Senior High School (SHS) students. Technical-vocational courses from TESDA are also offered for those who like to earn their National Certificate (NC).
Aside from the mentioned programs, Saint Francis of Assisi College also has a Franciscan Home Study Program (FHSP). The FHSP was made for students who have left high school and need a more flexible time table for finishing secondary education. At present, the program also accepts older students, working students, student family breadwinners, unsupervised children of OFWs, and even senior students. The program includes individualized instruction, adaptive assessment, and lessons on decision-making skills. It also has a Parents' Mentoring System and Parent Quarterly Forums, which help parents in guiding their children's educational journey.
Choosing the right program can help you set your future goals and visualize where you want to be. Whether you want to be an engineer, a teacher, an accountant, or you want to level up in your profession, making yourself informed with the right choices will surely back you up in the future.
