  • Does this mean I will spend two more years in High School?

    Yes. But these two additional years will equip you with skills that will better prepare you for the future, whether it be; Kolehiyo, Trabaho or Negosyo!

  • Grade School and High School

    Requirements

    Grade School

    • Report Card (Form 138) of the previous academic year, or a photocopy of the Report Card with second grading grades
    • For Grade one applicants: In the absence of the confirmation for promotion to Grade One, a certificate that the pupil will   be promoted to Grade One after completion of his/her present grade level is required.
    • Certified True Copy of Birth Certificate (NSO/PSA copy)
    • Certified True Copy of Baptismal or Dedication Certificate
    • For Children and Special Dependents of SLU Employees:  A Certificate of Reservation to be secured from the SLU Accounting Office

    High School
    • Photocopy of Report Card (Form 138);
    • Photocopy of Birth Certificate;
    • Certificate of Good Moral Conduct (except for SLU - LES graduates);
    • Fully accomplished Letter of Recommendation by former Principal, Class Adviser, Guidance Counselor, or authorized school representative;
    • Testing Fee Receipt (P300. 00) or Certificate of Discount for SLU regular employee’s dependent/s;
    • 1 long white folder; and
    • Six (6) copies of most recent 2X2 and 3 copies 1X1 identical ID picture; (Close up; with Name Tag and white background; applicant in decenthaircut- no color or highlight; no earrings for boys and no multiple earrings for girls; and applicant should be in his / her school uniform);

  • GRADUATE SCHOOL PROGRAMS

    Requirements

    • Transfer Credentials/Honorable Dismissal
    • Certified True Copy of Transcript of Records
    • Certified True Copy of Birth Certificate
    • Certificate of Graduation
    • Certificate of Good Moral Character
    • 6 copies of 2x2 picture

    Procedures
    1. The applicant must bring a copy of his transcript of records to the Graduate Program Coordinator (GPC) of the school where he intends to enroll.
    2. The GPC will evaluate his transcript and conduct a personal interview to determine if he qualifies for the program.
    3. Upon the recommendation of the GPC, the appropriate fee shall be paid to the Finance Office and the applicant must undergo and pass the Graduate Programs Entrance Examination (GPEE) to be given by the Psychological Testing Unit (Second Basement of the Fr. Theophile Verbist Christian Formation Center, beside the Parish Hall) of the SLU Guidance Center.
    4. After passing the interview and exam, he will receive an endorsement from the Graduate Program Coordinator.
    5. The applicant shall go through the official enrollment process as duly scheduled bringing the endorsement as well as requirements listed above

     

  • School of Medicine

    Requirements

    Freshmen

    • Original and photocopy of the original, complete, latest transcript of records.
    • Certification from the Registrar of his or her University (if not indicated on the transcript) stating the subject he/she is taking in the second semester to complete the prerequisite subjects for admission.
    • Students who graduated and conferred with a Degree and those currently enrolled (4th  year College), are required to submit a Certification from the school of his or her general weighted average.
    • Original and  photocopy of the following:
      • Certificate of Graduation
      • National Medical Admission Test (NMAT) results
      • Certificate of Live Birth printed on National Statistics Office (NSO) security paper
      • Certificate of Good Moral Character from Student Affair Office
    • Transfer credential or honorable dismissal (except SLU graduates).
    • Two (2) recommendation letters from two (2) school officials (except SLU graduates).
    • Three (3) 2x2 ID pictures taken within sixty (60) days as of the date of application.

    Foreign Students
    • All requirements above
    • Two (2) original copies of the transcript of records duly authenticated by the Philippine Embassy in the student’s country of origin.
    • Recommendation letters from two (2) school officials
    • Certificate of Eligibility for Admission (CEA)  from CHED
    • Photocopy of passport data page and birth certificate authenticated by the Philippine Embassy in their country.
    • NBI clearance
    • Certificate of Graduation from previous bachelor’s degree
    • Certificate of having passed the English Proficiency Test

    Procedures
    1. Applicant must be a holder of Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Arts or is expected to finish the course before the start of the academic year.
    2. Applicant must fill out completely and accurately one (1) application form available at the Office of the Dean, School of Medicine and submit the accomplished  form to the same office.
    3. Submit requirements personally in a long white folder
    4. All applicants are required to pay PhP 415 for application form and PhP 3,025 to cover application processing fee. For non-resident aliens the fee is $ 525 preferably in check payable to Saint Louis University, Inc. The official receipt must be enclosed with the application folder.
    5. The applicant must undergo an interview for evaluation on non-intellectual qualities. Interview will be done on/or a day after submission of above-mentioned requirements, depending on the availability of interviewers.
    6. As per CHED recommendation, the applicant must have taken and met the National Medical Admission Test (NMAT) percentile rank of 40 and above.

  • School of Law

    Requirements

    • An applicant to the SLU School of Law must be a holder of any Bachelor's Degree and must have finished at least 18 unites of English, 18 units of Social Sciences, and 6 unites of Math.
    • Passed the Philippine Law School Admission Test (PhilSAT).
    • Honor graduates who enroll within two years from graduation do not need to take the PhilSAT.

    Louisian graduates
    • Duly accomplished application form (to be secured from the SLU SOL Office)
    • Certificate of Eligibility (PhilSAT) or Certificate of Exemption from the PhilSAT
    • Certified True copy of TOR
    • Certificate of Graduation
    • Certificate of Good Moral Character
    • Certified true copy of Birth Certificate
    • Computed Weighted Average
    • 3 pcs. 2x2 pictures (white  background)

    Non-Louisian graduates/transferees
    • Letter application addressed to the Dean of SOL
    • Transfer Credentials
    • Certified true copy of TOR
    • Certificate of Graduation
    • Certificate of Good Moral Character
    • Certified true copy of Birth Certificate
    • Computed Weighted Average
    • 3 pcs. 2x2 pictures (white background)

  • UNDERGRADUATE/BACHELOR'S DEGREE PROGRAMS

    Requirements

    Freshmen

    • Currently enrolled Grade 12 Senior High School student of AY 2017-2018
    • Enrolled in appropriate Academic Track and Strand as required by the course applying for in SLU
    • Who is of good moral character and has not violated the rules and regulations of his/her school.
    • Original Form 138 (Grade 12 Report Card), marked “Eligible for Admission to College”
    • Birth Certificate (Photocopy shall be submitted; however, Official Copy with the Civil Registrar’s original signature or issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) shall be brought along for verification)
    • Certificate of Good Moral Character issued upon the release of your Form138
    • Duly Accomplished ACKNOWLEDGMENT slip to the Memo re: Parents’ Notification on Random Drug Testing of Tertiary Students.
    • Six (6) identical copies of your recent 2”x 2” ID pictures WITH Name Tag (Close-up front facial picture before a WHITE background; eyes, face, and hair not covered)
    • Photocopy of at least one (1) government-issued ID with photo of Parents with the original signature affixed beside the photocopied signature being authenticated.

    Foreign Students
    • Subject to the payment of package Pre-admission Processing Fee of PHP 1,745.00 covering the SLU English Proficiency Test (EPT), Personality Test and Interview. Those from Non-English Speaking countries must first take and pass the EPT prior to their admission in SLU
    • Valid Student Visa or Special Permit
    • Bureau of Immigration Special Study permit (SSP) for 18 years old and below
    • Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR I-CARD)
    • Original Transcript of Records - For Foreign students and students with Foreign Credentials, Official transcript of Records must be translated in English and authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post in the student’s country of origin or legal residence, with the Embassy’s official stationary, diplomatic red ribbon, and dry seal.
    • Birth Certificate (Official/ Authenticated copy)
    • English Proficiency Examination, Interview, Personality Test
    • National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) clearance, if student stayed in the Philippines for 6 months/more prior to admission
    • Affidavit of Support

    Procedures
    1. Online application for admission to SLU must be accomplished here: http://i2.slu.edu.ph/islu/freshmenapplication/
    2. After completing the online application, all applicants must download the Principal’s Recommendation and Data Privacy Release Forms. The applicant must accomplish the Data Privacy Release Form which will be submitted together with the Principal’s Recommendation Form.     3. Submit forms addressed to the Dean of the School applying for through Registered Mail, LBC, hand carried to SLU.
    4. Wait for Application and Enrollment decision.
