Samson Polytechnic College of Davao (formerly Samson Technical Institute) is a private, higher educational institution in
Davao City. The school has been providing technical education since 1960.
The school currently provides Senior High School, College, and Technical-vocational programs. The Senior High School department offers the
TVL track, particularly the
HE, IA, and
ICT strands. For the College department, the undergraduate courses available are in the fields of
Business Administration, Information Technology, Tourism and Hotel Management, and
Technical Teacher Education. The
TVET courses offered cover Hotel and Restaurant Services, Information Technology, and Industrial Arts. These courses also lead to a
National Certificate (NC).
SPCD is duly recognized by the Department of Education
(DepEd), the Commission on Higher Education
(CHED), and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority
(TESDA).
