  • Does this mean I will spend two more years in High School?

    Yes. But these two additional years will equip you with skills that will better prepare you for the future, whether it be; Kolehiyo, Trabaho or Negosyo!

  • College of Law

    1. Please take note of the admission policies of the Department. The College of Law reserves the right to deny application if required policies have not been met. Application fee is non-refundable.
    2. Prepare the following requirements for San Beda Law School Admission Test (SBLSAT) and submit them to the Admissions Center personally or via courier.
    a. Photocopy of the Official Transcript of Records (TOR)/True Copy of Grades
    If TOR is not yet available – Transfer Credentials or Certificate of Graduation For Graduating Students – Certificate of Candidacy for Graduation
     
    b. Photocopy of each of the two Good Moral Character certificates from any of the following: Dean, Prefect of Students, Guidance Counselor and Supervisor/HR Manager of company working for
    Note: If there is only one office from your school which is authorized to issue Good Moral Certificate, request a recommendation letter from your professor.
     
    c. Printed online application form with a 2x2 photo with applicant’s signature Link to the Online Application Form: (click here). IMPORTANT: Take note of the Applicant ID/username and password.
    d. Two (2) pcs. of 2x2 photos with white background
    e. Original copy of bank deposit slip for payment of application fee of P 1,500.00- Include this if all requirements will be submitted via courier.

    f. One (1) clear photocopy of Birth Certificate issued by Philippines Statistics Authority (PSA)

    IMPORTANT: Only applicants with complete requirements and who have met the policies will be allowed to take the test.
    3. Take the entrance exam as scheduled.
    4. Access San Beda’s website for the result on the release date.
    5. Examinees who qualify for admission must reserve their enrollment slots in the amount of P3,000.00.
    6. Prepare the following requirements to be submitted during enrollment:
    a. Original Official Transcript of Records (TOR with remarks: “For Further Studies” or “For Copy of San Beda College of Law”) 
    If the school does not issue a TOR with the said remarks, submit a Certificate of Graduation and Transfer Credentials. 
    If the above-mentioned documents are not yet available, submit a certification from the Registrar’s office of the College/University, stating the DATE when the TOR will be released; or a photocopy of the receipt of your request for the document if the College/University is not issuing such certification. 
    b. Two Original Certificates of Good Moral Character:
    - from any of the following: the Dean, the Prefect, Guidance Counselor and Supervisor/HR Manager of company working for
    c. One (1) original copy, with one clear photocopy of Birth Certificate issued by Philippines Statistics Authority (PSA)
    d. Photocopy of the Marriage Contract (for female enrollees)
    e. Certificate of Special Order (S.O.) from the Registrar of last school attended (Exempted to submit S.O.: graduates of state universities and of colleges/universities that are included in the roster of private higher education institutions with autonomy or deregulated status)
    f. Certificate of Employment indicating working hours, SSS No. & TIN (for working students)
    g. SBLSAT Examinee Report, Admission Result and Enrollment Permit
    h. Original and photocopy of Philippine Law School Aptitude Test Result/Certificate of Exemption
    i. Seven (7) ID photos: 
    - Dean’s office 
    - three (3) 1 x 1 and Two (1) 1 ½ x 1 ½ 
    - Clinic – one (1) 1 x 1 
    - Library – one (1x1) 
    Note: For those with Latin Honors: Submit a TOR or a Certificate from the Registrar’s Office (indicating the honors received) to the COL-Guidance and Counseling Office before the enrollment period in order to process your scholarship.

  • Graduate School

    Graduate School of Liturgy

    • A Bachelor's Degree with 85% or B or 2.00 average in the entire course
    • Accomplished Application Form
    • Two (2) accomplished Recommendation Letters from any of the following: the Dean/Chair/Guidance Counselor/Faculty Member of the School last attended/or Supervisor of Present Employment/Religious or Seminary Superior.
    • Special Order (S.O.) or Certification of Graduation from the Registrar of School last attended
    • Certified True Copy of Transcript of Records (with Remarks: for San Beda College or for further studies)
    • Honorable Dismissal
    • Photocopies of Birth and Baptismal Certificates (except for SBC graduates)
    • Five (5) colored ID pictures sized (2x2), and
    • Certificate of Employment from Employer

    Master of Business Administration
    • A Bachelor’s Degree with 85% or B or 2.00 average in the entire course Accomplished Application Form
    • Two (2) accomplished Recommendation Forms from any of the following: The -Dean/Chair/Guidance Counselor/Faculty Member of the School last attended/or -Supervisor of Present Employment
    • Special Order (S.O.) or Certification of Graduation from the Registrar of School last attended
    • Certified True Copy of Transcript of Records (with Remarks: for San Beda College or for further studies)
    • Honorable Dismissal from school last attended
    • Photocopies of Birth and Baptismal Certificates (except for SBC graduates)
    • Five (5) colored ID pictures sized (2x2), and
    • Certificate of Employment from Employer
    • Summary of Credits (Transferees)

    Doctor of Business Administration
    • Five Copies of the Student’s Personal History Statement (PHS)
    • Transcript of Records/Scholastic Records duly authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post
    • A notarized affidavit of support including bank statements or notarized notice of grant for institutional scholars
    • A photocopy of data page of the student’s passport showing date and place of birth, and birth certificate duly authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post
    • Police clearance issued by the national police authorities in the student’s country of origin
    • Medical health certificate issued by an authorized physician including but not limited to a standard size chest x-ray, HIV, and Hepatitis B clearance
    • A Master’s Degree with thesis
    • Accomplished Application Form
    • Two (2) accomplished Recommendation Forms from any of the following: the Dean/Chair/Guidance Counselor/Faculty Member of the School last attended/or Supervisor of Present Employment
    • Special Order (S.O.) or Certification of Graduation from the Registrar of School last attended

  • College of Medicine

    • Completely filled out Application Form from the San Beda Manila Admissions Office (click here). 
    • Four 2”x 2” recent pictures with white background
    • Photocopy of Official Transcript of Records – from undergraduate course (w/remarks: Copy for San Beda College or for Further Studies)*
    • Photocopy of certificate of Graded Weighted Average Grade (GWAG)*
    • Photocopy of certificate of Class Ranking*
    • Photocopy of Honorable Dismissal from undergraduate degree program*
    • Photocopy of certificate Good Moral Character
    • Letter of recommendation one from the Dean and a faculty member of undergraduate degree program
    • National Medical Admissions Test (NMAT) with a percentile score of 40 or higher not more than two years from the time of publication.
    • Photocopy of Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - issued Birth Certificate.
    • Other Documents (if applicable)
      • Official certification or proof of awards in academics, art, culture, sports, or any notable distinction within the last three years
      • Certification of any professional licensure examinations related to undergraduate course passed
      • Diploma or equivalent certification of graduate (MA or MSc) and post-graduate (PhD) courses undergone
      • Documentation of professional work experience related to undergraduate degree
      • Proof of Academic Publications - research and other scholarly works
      • Certification of community work and leadership in civic organizations

    Accepted applicants must submit the following additional requirements:
    • Reservation fee of P 30,000.00 (non-refundable)
    • Original copies of all required documents, if not submitted previously
    • Medical clearance certificate with the following:
      • CBC
      • Urinalysis
      • Chest x-ray results and plates (PA view)
      • Two recent 2”x 2” recent pictures w/ white background

  • College of Arts and Sciences

    Freshmen:

    • Grades received in previous academic work
    • Entrance exam scores
    • Recommendation from the officials of the last school attended
    • Interviews, essay tests, and other supplementary credentials
    • Certification of good moral character
    Transferees:
    • GPA/GWA of 82 from last school attended
    • No failing grade
    • No incomplete grade nor withdrawn subject without permission in more than 3 units per semester
    • Passed entrance examination and interview
    • Favorable recommendation from officials of the last school attended
    Note:
    • Admission is limited only to those seeking enlistment in the first or second year of the desired course
    • Transferee must not have been previously enrolled in two or more colleges or universities unless grades are exceptionally high.
    • Former San Beda-CAS student who transferred to another college/university is not allowed for re-admission.
    • For accreditation of courses: A subject with a grade of 82 and above, which has the same description as the subject offered under the degree program, will be credited. However, it may be repeated if deemed necessary by the Board of Admissions.

  • College of Nursing

    In selecting applicants for admission, the following will be reviewed:

    • Grades received in previous academic work
    • Entrance exam scores
    • Recommendation from the officials of the last school attended
    • Interviews, essay tests, and other supplementary credentials
    • Certification of good moral character
    In addition, applicants must:
    • Possess a pleasing personality
    • meet the minimum height requirement (152.4cm for women and 157.48cm for men)
    • be physically fit (without deformities/abnormalities)
    Specifically for freshmen, a 4th year high school general average of 82 and above with no grades below 80 in Science, Math, and English is required.
     
    For transferees, admission is limited only to those seeking enlistment in the first or second year. Those who have completed his/her first and second year college in another school but would not otherwise qualify for admission in San Beda College as a transferee may be allowed to enroll as first year student again, provided he/she signs an affidavit waiving any and all credits earned in the school he/she came from. Transferees must also meet the following requirements:
    • Must come from a Level II Accredited schools
    • Should not have a failing grade in any subject taken in college
    • Should have a weighted GPA not lower than 2.5 counting all the subjects taken in the school he/she was previously enrolled in and subjects to be credited in the academic program he/she is enlisting
    • Should neither have withdrawn nor have an incomplete grade in more than one (1) subject per semester in the school he/she was previously enrolled
    • Willing to repeat all General Education subjects with grades below 2.5
    • Should have passed the initial interview and evaluation of credentials to determine qualification for entrance examination
    • Must not have been previously enrolled in two or more colleges or universities
    • Should have passed the SBC entrance exam and interview
    • Should submit all other requirements as deemed necessary by the Board of Admissions
