San Carlos Seminary College is a private Catholic educational institution in Cebu City. It was founded in 1971 and is under the Archbishop of Cebu. Available is a bachelor's degree program in Philosophy, which is open to both high school and college graduates. High school graduates are required to take a Pre-College Formation course for a year before the formal degree program. College graduates, on the other hand, are given the option to take a non-AB program for 3 years as a preparation for Theology.
Currently, the seminary implements a pastoral strategy for Basic Ecclesial Communities (BEC). The strategy allows students to take part in devising their own formation program along with the rector and other administrators. All members of the community are sorted into BEC-inspired Houses—House of Augustine, House of Francis, House of Ignatius, and House of Thomas. However, Pre-college seminarians are part of the Class of Pedro Calungsod.
