Course Description


A. Hotel and Restaurant Management

This is an introductory course on study on hospitality industry.
National Certificate that may acquire through this course:
Cookery ( Commercial Cooking) NC II
This course covers basic skills and knowledge in preparing hot/cold meals and desserts to guests of various food and beverage service facilities.
 
Food and Beverage Services NC II
This course covers basic skills and knowledge in providing food and beverage service to guests in various food and beverage service facilities. 
 
Bread and Pastry Production NC II
This course covers basic skills and knowledge required by bakers and pastry cooks. This includes producing, filling, decorating, and presenting of specialized sponges and cakes.

Housekeeping NC II
This course covers basic skills and knowledge performing  housekeeping services -- to clean and prepare rooms, public areas and equipments, and to handle guests and their needs. 
 
B. Tourism
This strand covers basic knowledge to students who want to pursue Travel/Tourism Management in college.

Caregiving NC II
This course gives competencies to an individual in providing care and support to infants/toddlers, children, elderly, and people with special needs, maintain healthy and safe environment, and respond to emergency.
 
Wellness Massage NC II
This course gives competencies to an individual in providing plan, pre-service, application of techniques and post-advice for the wellness program of client/s.
D. Fashion and Design 
This strand covers basic skills and knowledge on designing and making clothes, dresses and accessories. It includes planning and research to interpret trends and target audience. 
National Certificate that may acquire through this course:
Dressmaking NC II
This course offers competencies in drafting and cutting of pattern, layouting pattern on the material/fabric, sewing material/fabric and applying finishing touches on the ladies casual apparel of the Garment sector. 

E. Cosmetology
This strand covers basic knowledge of providing personal care services. This includes hair styling (perming, straightening, dressing), skin care, make-up, manicure, pedicure, foot and hand spa, and alike.
National Certificate that may acquire through this course:
Beauty/Nail Care NC II
This course covers competencies in performing manicure and pedicure, hand spa, and foot spa.
 
Hairdressing NC II
This course covers the core competencies in hair and scalp care and treatment, hair style and cutting.
