Southern Christian College (SCC) is a private school in
Midsayap, North Cotabato. The school can trace its roots to the establishment of the
Maguindanao Institute in 1941. Maguindanao Institute eventually became the Southern Christian College after the Cotabato and Davao Conferences bought the site from the stockholders of the institute back then; the school also became a
non-stock, non-profit religious institution.
At present, SCC provides basic and higher education programs. Its basic education department has a Senior High School (SHS) arm with the
STEM, HUMSS, ABM, and
TVL strands available. For college students, SCC has nine college units offering courses in
Humanities, Teacher Education, Business, Agriculture, Information Technology, Social Work, Community Development, Allied Health, and Theology. The institution is also a
TESDA Assessment Center for a variety of TVET courses in the areas of Agriculture, Automotive Transportation, Electrical and Electronics, and Tourism.
