Southland College is a private school in
Kabankalan, Negros Occidental. It was established in 2009 and initially had a partnership with Negros Oriental State University (NOSU) for college programs such as Accountancy, Business, Hospitality Management, and 2-year Midwifery. A couple of years after its foundation, the school was able to invest in and to expand its facilities and resources to cater to more students, eventually providing college programs independently.
The college currently offers undergraduate courses under four units:
Midwifery and Health Sciences; Education, Arts, and Sciences; Engineering, Computer Studies, and Architecture; and,
Business and Accountancy. Southland College also provides the basic education program, including curricula for
Special Education (SPED) and for
Senior High School (SHS), the latter having available strands from the
Academic and the
Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) tracks.
