St. Mary’s Academy - Pasay (SMA-P), formerly known as
Escuela Catolica de Pasay, is a private Catholic institution established in
1922. The school changed its name to the current one when the Congregation of the Religious of the Virgin Mary (RVM) took over the management. SMA-P follows an active learning framework and implements the RVM Pedagogy in its teachings.
SMA - P offers a
Kinder to Grade 12 curriculum. The school also has a senior high school program that features
Academic, Arts and Design and Sports Tracks. Both primary and intermediate levels also have student clubs and organizations that can help the students in their English, Science, and Math subjects.
Given their long-standing history of academic excellence, SMA-P was the first school in Pasay to hold an
ISO 9001:2000 Certification. The
Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU) also recognized SMA-P with a Level III accreditation status. St. Mary’s Academy was conferred the same status by the
Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP).
