STI College is a multiple-campus school system recognized for its
computer and business programs. The college was founded by four entrepreneurs, Augusto C. Lagman, Herman T. Gamboa, Benjamin A. Santos, and Edgar H. Sarte, and was then known as the Systems Technology Institute. It was established as a training center for programming that would produce computer professionals. STI prides itself of producing job-ready students; it actually had a brand,
“First We’ll Teach You, Then We’ll Hire You.” The institution assures students of employability straight out of graduation.
At present, STI College has more than 70 branches nationwide. STI College Caloocan provides degree courses in
Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Business Administration, Accountancy, Management Accounting, Communication, and
Multimedia Arts. The Caloocan campus also has a new course offering, R
etail Technology and Consumer Science. For Senior High School (SHS) students, STI Caloocan offers the
Academic and the
Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) tracks.
