IASTEM organizes various scientific seminars, lectures,educational conferences and meetings across the globe which brings together institutions, bodies and organizations from different countries of the world for discussion and cooperation. In July 18-19, 2019 IASTEM organizes a conference entitled Academicsworld International Conference on Recent Advances in Engineering and Technology at the Embassy Suites in Los Angeles, USA. The said conference was attended to by Engr. Nestle R. Juco from the College of Engineering presenting a paper on soil testing which awarded him as the Best Presenter.
Prof. Regie A. Bautista, Dean of the College of Nursing (CON) and Dr. Carlo Bryan C. Borrico attended the 3rd International Conference of Health Sciences 2019 held last July 17-18, 2019 at Java Heritage Hotel in Indonesia. The Faculty of Health Sciences, Jenderal Soedirman University organized this conference for educators, clinicians, researchers, policy makers and students for a dialogue on how today healthcare will change in the fourth industrial revolution. Both presented their studies during the conference where they engaged dialogues with other researcher in the field.
During the said international conference, SPCF CON achieved another milestone as Dean Regie A. Bautista bagged the “Best Oral Presenter” for the study entitled: “Coping with Menopause- A Measure that Women Can Take.

Borrico for winning Best Paper (Podium) and 1st Runner-up (Research Poster) respectively during the recently concluded 2nd Biennial International Conference in Nursing Education, Practice and Research last August 2-3, 2019 at Bayfront Hotel, Cebu City, besting other representatives from different universities and hospitals in the county’s different regions.

SPCF Communications' Guild's documentary with the title JAKE, which was produced by Thalia Amisola, Neil Jan Antonio Quiambao and Angel Rupisan won an award at 7th Student Quill Awards. It is the school's first Quill Award competing with almost 800 entries all over the Philippines. The awarding rites is slated on August 30, 2019 at Marriot Grand Ballroom Pasay City.

In the recently concluded CPE CHALLENGE 2018, an inter-school competition organized by the institute of Computer Engineers of the Philippines Region 3 held at Holy Angel University on October 05, 2018, the SPCF-College of Engineering student representatives bagged the 1st Place in the Programming Competition and 4th Place in the CPE Quiz Bowl.

Dr. Christian Jay S. Orte and Dr. Carlo Bryan C. Borrico, faculty members of the College of Nursing represented the Systems Plus College Foundation in the RIAU International Nursing Conference 2018 hosted by Universitas RIAU College of Nursing held at Prime Park Hotel Pekanbaru, RIAU, Indonesia. It was attended by almost 300 participants and delegates from Hongkong, Thailand, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines respectively. On the first day, the organizers facilitated the workshop on Technology-driven Research Output Reference Data Management using Zotero Software which was participated by 49 delegates. The following day, the participants presented their researches in oral presentation mode.
Dr. Orte bested 46 research presenters for his research paper, “Eliciting E-Leadership Style and Trait Preference among Nurses via Conjoint Analysis” and was awarded BEST IN ORAL PRESENTATION
BSHRM students, Mauvic Manialung, Myla Lusung, Lalaine Manalang and Tracy De Guzman participated in the first NYAMAN KAPAMPANGAN Heirloom Kapampangan Culinary Competition last November 9-10, 2018 at Vista Mall, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. They created dishes that have modern take on Kapampangan heirloom cuisine. They earned everything from butchering mudfish and chicken. They also perfected the art of sous vide cooking and practicing molecular gastronomy.
Kay Chel Gomez is all set to attend the Asia World Model United Nations II on January 30 – February 2, 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand. Asia World Model United Nations is a platform where youth mentality in leadership, negotiation and diplomacy will be developed in Model United Nations.
She was an active student leader when she was still a student. She held League of Tourism Students of the Philippines – SPCF Chapter and in the College Student Council of College of Hospitality Management. Also, she was the former Editor in Chief of “The Amuse Bouche”, the official publication of the college. Indeed, she is a born leader.

Systems Plus College Foundation welcomes its new batch of freshmen after the transition period of the K-12 Program. Included in this cluster are the first batch of Bachelor of Science in Entertainment and Multimedia Computing students under the supervision of Mr. Ricky I. Oliveria, its Program Chair.
The new program is supplied with new equipment and technologies that will be used as part of the program’s curriculum including 30 new animation desks and 30 drawing tables for the students’ use. The College of Computing and Information Sciences gladly welcomed the new program and provided a dedicated Drawing Laboratory located at the ground floor of the IT Building. The program encourages students to pursue a course in the field of Multimedia due to its high demand in the Industry.
The CCIS Black Dragons of Systems Plus College Foundation brought home several awards during the Regional Assembly on Information Technology Education 2018 by winning from various competitions on September 7, 2018 at the Angeles University Foundation Sports and Cultural Center.

PubMed is a free search engine accessing primarily the medline database of life sciences and biomedical topics maintained by United States National Library of Medicine (NLM), while sciencedirect is a website known as a leading source for scientific, technical and medical research articles from up to 3,800 journals in full text and abstract form. In addition, this will be considered as the birth of embracing quality research culture as it is the first time for this institution, Systems Plus College Foundation to be published in a well-known database in the world.
Systems Plus College Foundation College of Nursing emerged as 2nd Runner-up in the recently concluded 12th Region 3 Interschool Nursing Quiz Bee, "Narsing Cabiasa." The annual academic competition has brought together students and faculty members from 12 different nursing schools in Region 3 namely: Bataan Peninsula State University, Bulacan State University, Centro Escolar University - Malolos, Central Luzon Doctors' Hospital, College of the Immaculate Concepcion, Columban College, Good Samaritan College, Gordon College, President Ramon Magsaysay State University, Systems Plus College Foundation, University of the Assumption, and Wesleyan University - Philippines.
SPCF-CON was represented by Patria Joy Garcia, Juliet del Fin, Mary Jane Cabatana, Maria Corazon Gutierrez, and Jana Ionie Mendiola. The team was coached by Maria Henedina Cruz, OD, RN and Junefaith Elese Cordero-Neo, RN, RM, MSN.
Narsing Cabiasa was held on February 28, 2019 at Holy Angel University. The quiz competition served as a venue not only to broaden and deepen the student's nursing knowledge and competencies but also to promote sportsmanship, collegiality and camaraderie through healthy competition among nursing institutions.
Selected Hotel and Restaurant Management and Tourism students won several awards in the recently concluded 2nd Central Luzon Hospitality and Tourism Skills Competition with the theme “The Filipino Culinary Landscape towards Global Excellence in Hospitality and Tourism Industry” held at the College of Immaculate Conception, Cabanatuan City on February 28, 2019.
Patricia Godsgrace Alfonso maintained her winning streak on Virtual Tour Guiding adding another silver medal to her collection. Glowing with Pinoy pride, the Miss Universe-themed Cupcake Display was the masterpiece of Kurt Venczar de Guzman and Jefferson Bernardo fit for a top 3 finish, winning them a bronze medal. On the main culinary event, the very innovative trio of Mauvic Manialung, Tracy Ann Carole de Guzman, and Angielica Petronio Kerr successfully survived the challenging Market Basket with their take on modern Kapampangan cuisine which received compliments and approvals from the professional Chef-judges, enough to award them a silver medal.
Team SPCF was also composed of Brazmeena Abdurajak, Trisha Aquino, Charm Obiacoro, Nathaniel Sevilla, Ruth Ann Benitez, Ronalyn Fajardo, Klinten Manaclang, Kyle Austria, Hirozaki Lozano, and Ricky Lopez, coached by Ms. Theresa Velasco, Mr. Joe Mari Carreon, Ms. Ballerie Mara, Ms. Whenzee Bartolo, Mr. Roel Agustin, Mr. Ramon Lim, and CHM Dean Rennier Perez.
The Central Luzon Hospitality and Tourism Skills Competition is an annual event organized by the Council of Hotel and Restaurant Educators of the Philippines – Region III participated by top colleges and universities and attended by hundreds of hospitality and tourism students in the region.
