Tanauan Institute (TI), Inc. is a private higher educational institution in
Batangas. It was founded in 1924 to serve as another secondary school provider in the city. In 1967, the institute opened the Collegiate Department with courses in Commerce and Secretarial Science. The establishment of the college department was later followed by that of the Preschool and Elementary Departments in 1988. Short-term and technical courses were also offered at that time.
At present, the institute offers undergraduate programs in
Criminology, Teacher Education, Accountancy, Business Administration, Computer Science, and
Tourism Management. The high school department of TI includes a Senior High School (SHS) program with curricula in the
Academic and the
Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) tracks. Additionally, a
Master's program in Education is available for college graduates who wish to pursue further studies.
