ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES
STEP 1: ADMISSION
  1. Submit all requirements to the University Registrar
  2. Get student number (Admission Slip)
  3. Proceed to respective college and pay for necessary fees
  4. Present your Admission Slip to the College Clerk
STEP 2: REGISTRATION
  1. Present your student number to the Enrollment Personnel
  2. Wait for the assessment form
STEP 3: PAYMENT
  1. Proceed to Cashier
  2. Present your Pre-Registration/Assessment Form
  3. Pay the amount presented in the Pre-Registration/Assessment Form
  4. Get your Certificate of Registration (COR) at the Admission and Registration Office (ARO)
CURRENT STUDENTS
STEP 1: REGISTRATION
  1. Pay fees for the respective college
  2. Present your I.D or student number to the Enrollment Personnel
  3. Wait for the assessment form
STEP 2: PAYMENT
  1. Proceed to Cashier
  2. Present your Pre-Registration/Assessment Form
  3. Pay the amount presented in the Pre-Registration/Assessment Form
  4. Get your Certificate of Registration (COR) at the Admission and Registration Office (ARO)
COLLEGE TRANSFEREES
  1. Transfer student will go to the Admission and Registration Office (ARO) Admission Unit for checking of the following credentials:
    • Certificate of Transfer Credentials/Honorable Dismissal
    • Certified Copy of Grades/Official Transcript of Records (OTR)
    • Certificate of Good Moral Character
    • Authenticated Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Birth Certificate
    • Authenticated Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Marriage Certificate for female married students
    • Health Examination Certificate
    • 2pcs. 2x2 ID Picture
    • Accomplished Application Form for Transferee
    • TSU Brown Enrollment Envelope Long
    • Self-addressed Stamp Long Envelope
  2. The in-charge of Admission Unit will check and evaluate carefully the subjects to be validated and accredited.
  3. Transfer student will be issued an application form or notice of acceptance to be signed by the College Dean.
  4. Proceed to the University Testing Center for the Psychological Test.
  5. Go to the College Dean for the Approval of the application form or notice of acceptance.
  6. If accepted, present the application form or notice of acceptance to the Admission Unit to secure validation or accreditation form to be signed by the College Dean.
  7. The Admission Unit will assess the validation or accreditation fees and issue payment stub.
  8. Go to the Cashier's Office for the payment fees.
  9. The Director, ARO will approve the validation or accreditation form.
  10. Submit the original copy of validation or accreditation form to the In-Charge of Admission Unit and fill-out the application form for enrollment to secure student number and Admissions Slip.
  11. Submit the photocopy of validation or accreditation form to the In-Charge of Records for encoding the credited subjects.
  12. Proceed to the Enrollment Area for advising and issuance of pre-registration / assessment form.
  13. Go to the Cashier’s Office for the payment of fees.
  14. The ARO will issue the Certificate of Registration.
  15. The processing of University ID will be at the Production Office

Tarlac State University (TSU) was established in 1906 as the former elementary trade school, later progressing to a secondary school in 1909. In 1959, the Philippine Congress approved that Tarlac Trade School to be renamed as Tarlac School of Arts and Trades (TSAT). In 1965, it was then changed to Tarlac College of Technology until it received its university status by virtue of  Republic Act No. 6764 of 1989. 

TSU has three campuses: the Main Campus (7 Colleges), the Lucinda Campus (2 Colleges), and the San Isidro Campus (2 Colleges). The university offers 66 courses, 5 international programs, 19 graduate programs, 1 post baccalaureate program, 3 certificate program, and 2 secondary programs. Some of the international programs are the Doctorate of Philosophy in Business Administration and Master of Arts in Education, major in Educational Management. TSU also offers an English Language Proficiency Program and Language Proficiency Programs in Filipino, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Italian, and Arabic.
