Tiong Se Academy (TSA), formerly known as Anglo-Chinese School (ACS), is a private, non-sectarian school in Binondo, Manila established in 1899 by Engracio Palanca (also known as Tan Kong). It is the oldest known Filipino-Chinese educational institution in the country.
The school offers Nursery up to Senior High School (SHS) education. Its SHS program includes General Academic Strand (GAS) and Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM) which are part of the Academic track.
At TSA, the medium of instruction besides Filipino and English are Mandarin and Hokkien. Another exclusive offering is a Chinese Culture subject which was added in the school’s Chinese curriculum in 2012.
