The Home Economics Strand is a multi-faceted program that develops the student’s proficiency in skills related to the tourism and service sectors of the industry. There are three (3) substrands under the Home Economics Strand:
  The Hospitality Substrand develops the practical skills of the students in the field of Bread and Pastry Production, Cookery, and Food and Beverage Servicing.  This substrand is also ideal for students who intend to pursue Hospitality and Culinary Degree Programs in college.  Qualified students are also entitled to three (3) National Certificates from TESDA. The Caregiving Substrand equips the students with the skills related to health care.  This substrand further enables the students to gain employment abroad such as, but not limited to, Japan, USA, United Kingdom, Middle East, Canada, and others.  The Caregiving Substrand is also ideal for students who intend to pursue Nursing and other health related programs in college.  Qualified students are entitled to one (1) National Certificate from TESDA. The Tourism & Wellness Substrand aims to develop the proficiency of the students in skills related to the Tourism and Wellness sectors of the country. Under this substrand, students will be trained in Tourism Promotion Services, Events Management, and Wellness Massage. Qualified students under this substrand will be entitled to receive three (3) National Certifications from TESDA. This Substrand is ideal for students who intend to pursue Tourism and Hospitality degrees in college.
