The
University of Perpetual Help System (UPHS) – Isabela Campus is a private school in
Cauayan, Isabela. The Isabela Campus is the
youngest satellite of UPHS Laguna, the main branch of the JONELTA System; the
JONELTA System is one of the two foundations of the university, the other being the
DALTA System. The University of Perpetual Help started out in 1968 as the
Perpetual Help Hospital and College of Nursing (now
Perpetual Help College Manila) founded by Drs. Jose and Josefina Tamayo. As years passed, more programs were offered by the school and more branches were also established. At present, the UPH System has a total of
nine campuses from both DALTA and JONELTA Systems.
UPHS Isabela currently provides programs from the kindergarten to the college level. The basic education department just
recently relocated to Barangay San Fermin in Cauayan. The university is a K-12 accredited institution and offers a Senior High School (SHS) program with the
Academic and the
Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) tracks available. For college students, the Isabela Campus has a variety of undergraduate courses in the fields of
Medical Science, Social Sciences, Teacher Education, Business, Accountancy, Hospitality Management, and
Information Technology. Additionally, the university also has several available
TVET courses authorized by
TESDA.
