Originally the Rizal Polytechnic College, the
URS - Morong is a public academic institution presently part of the
University of Rizal System. The school dates back its existence in 1944 as the Morong High School which was then eventually elevated into a comprehensive school, and then became the Rizal Polytechnic College. It is also one of the three pioneer institutions that were merged in order to successfully establish the current URS.
The Morong campus provides a
unique set of programs ranging from certificate to post-graduate degrees. Its graduate study program is composed of mostly
Teacher Education programs while its undergraduate curriculum is heavily focused on
Engineering. In addition, the campus also provides short-courses in
Technology, Biomedical Technician, and
Professional Education. It also has a
Career Education Development program just like the
Cainta campus.
