The Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics is a four-year degree program that gives students the significant knowledge and competencies in the major areas of Nutrition; Hospital Nutrition, Community (Public Health) Nutrition, and Food Service. Students in this program are trained in assessing the nutritional needs of the community and developing dietary-care plans to improve the state of their nutritional health. In addition, students are required to be exposed to these fields to have their practicum in hospitals.
A graduate of this program is required to take and pass the Nutritionist-Dietitian Licensure Examination to be considered a Registered Nutritionist-Dietitian (RND).
