BS in Occupational Theory is a program where students are trained to become client-centered health professionals who promote the health and well-being of the individuals by addressing the physical, developmental, social, and/or emotional problems. College of Rehabilitation Sciences also includes a one-year internship program which aims to give the students intensive training designed for the students, giving them the experience to work hand in hand with the clients of all ages, and also to increase the students’ involvement that will help them once they have completed the degree. 

Career Opportunities for BS Occupational Therapy degree holders: 

• Occupational therapy consultant or clinician in diverse facility-based and community-based practice settings, such as hospitals, clinics, day and rehabilitation centers, community mental health centers, skilled nursing facilities, home health care, school systems, and special education programs, industry and private enterprises
• Educator and researcher in the academe
• Clinical Educator
• Consultant in government/non-government agencies advising in the areas of health promotion, disability prevention/management, accessibility, vocation/health planning, rehabilitation program and inclusive development, and advocacy building and sustainable livelihood for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)
