This one year full-time course is offered on-campus at the School of Architecture & Design (Launceston) to develop specialist Interior Design and research skills with a focus on workplace design. The course enhances both employability in practice and eligibility to enter a higher degree.

Students graduating from the Bachelor of Environmental Design (Interior Design) and Bachelor of Environmental Design with Honours (Interior Design) will both be recognised as Interior Designers. However, as the Interior Design profession in Australia recognises a greater level of design maturity and skills ability from students graduating from a four-year degree, students graduating from the four-year Honours degree will have an employability advantage.
