Minimum Application Requirements
  1. Senior high school student expecting to graduate before SY 2021-2022 from a DepEd-accredited high school or an accredited secondary school abroad
  2. Graduate of a DepEd-accredited high school or accredited secondary school abroad
  3. Must have final grades for Grade 8, 9, 10 and first semester of Grade 11
  4. Must not have taken any college subject/s
  5. Must not have taken the UP College Admission Test before

Required Documents
  1. ALL APPLICANTS- Fully accomplished forms: 
    • Form 1 Personal Data Sheet
    •  Form 2 High School Record
  2. For High school graduates
    • High School Diploma
  3. For Graduating from a local HS 
    • DepEd Certificate of Recognition or Permit to Operate
  4. For TRANSFEREE ONLY
    • Certified clear photocopy of the Permanent Secondary School Record (F137) from other school with all the grades earned therein
  5. For FOREIGN APPLICANTS ONLY
    • Proof of payment of application processing fee

Application Process
  1. For ONLINE APPLICATION, go to https://upadmissionsonline.up.edu.ph.
    1. You will be required to create an account. Therefore, a valid email address is required. DO NOT FORGET YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS AND PASSWORD
    2. Next, fill out the FORM 1 carefully and completely. 
  2. The Online portal shall automatically forward a request to your high school principal/school head to fill out Form 2 (Secondary School Record).
  3. For Non- Filipino Applicants: Pay the Application Fee
    • P450 for resident foreign applicants studying in the Philippines
    • US$50 for non-resident foreign applicants
  4. Modes of Payment are through banks. 
  5. Check if the completed Forms 1 and 2 and all other required documents are uploaded in the Online Portal.
    • You will be notified by email regarding the status of your application. You may also monitor the status of your application by logging on to your UP College Admissions Online Account
  6. Wait for the Application Results

Graduate School Students

  1. The candidate must be a graduate of bachelor’s degree or relevant master’s degree with good academic records from recognized institutions of higher learning. 
  2. Shall pass the interview and/or written examination administered by College Graduate Program Committee 
  3. Shall submit a duly accomplished application form to NGOHS together with the following documents: 
  • Original copy of the official Transcript of Records (highest degree obtained), stating degree obtained, date of graduation, and S.O.B. No. 
  • Certified True Copy of College Diploma (highest degree obtained) with university seal and signature of the Registrar in ink. 
  • Photocopy of birth certificate (bring original copy to presented only for verification)
  • For female married applicants, a photocopy of marriage certificate (bring original copy to be presented only for verification) especially when documents reflect names when still on single status.
  • Four (4) passport size photos
  • Two (2) letters of recommendation from former professors, colleagues, and/or supervisors preferably mailed directly to NGOHS by the referees. 
  • Official receipt of the application/processing fee paid at the UP Manila Cash Division
  • Health and dental clearance
For foreign applicants, these are the additional requirements aside from the ones aforementioned: 
  • Certified true copy of english translation of the diploma , with university seal and signature of Registrar in ink
  • Valid TOEFL certificate with a minimum score of 550 (paper-based), 173 (computer-based), 61 (internet-based); A certificate in English medium of the instruction where the student has graduated from is sufficient to waive this requirement.
  • Affidavit of support or certificate of financial capability
  • Photocopy of passport (bring the original for verification purposes)
  • Alien certificate of residence for resident aliens
  1. Submitted documents will go through initial screening prior to forwarding to the DGUs.
  2. Foreign students must have a student visa. Foreign students with tourist visas will not be allowed to enroll in the University. However, they can apply for conversion of their tourist visa to student visa at the Bureau of Immigration once admitted.
  3. A foreign student’s study permit is needed to register for course work. It is processed by the International Student Program of the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) upon submission of requirements. A temporary student permit is issued while the final or validated study permit is issued by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
