University of the Visayas – Compostela Campus is a private school in Cebu and is one of the campuses under the University of the Visayas (UV) system. UV was established in 1919 as the Visayan Institute in Cebu City. At present, the university system has nine satellite campuses with the main campus along Colon Street in Cebu City.

UV Compostela currently has a Bachelor of Elementary Education program offered under the College of Education. The campus also has a Senior High School (SHS) department providing the General Academic Strand (GAS) and the Home Economics (HE) Strand. As part of the UV system, UV Compostela and its programs are duly recognized by the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
